Robert’s accounting career began in 1981, in public accounting, as a Staff Accountant and Associate Accountant for various reputable accounting firms throughout Florida. Before returning to private practice in recent years, Robert had a very distinguished career with the U.S. Department of Treasury, Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for 33 years. As a veteran IRS Agent, he holds an impressive background of service with the federal government, having served his initial 20 years with the IRS, as a Field Agent (Auditor) for their Small Business-Self Employed Division (SBSE). During that tenure, he conducted countless successful audits of numerous Small Businesses in many different industries, his audit work often led to the discovery of additional tax matters which were subsequently referred to the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) section of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). He also became a specialist in the Healthcare Division (SBSE) and he received specialized training for auditing the income tax aspects of Trusts & Estates. For the remaining 13 years of his career with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), he was exclusively dedicated as a Field Agent (Auditor) in the Large Business and International Division (LB&I). Those cases required audits of very large complex businesses in many industries, including, Aviation, Maritime, Insurance, Hotels, Banks, Computer Manufacturers, Real Estate Developments, Medical Equipment Manufacturers and Logistic Services Companies, all involving both domestic and international tax issues, as well as highly complex taxation matters dealing with consolidated tax returns and multinational and international companies. During those complex audits, he dealt with numerous high net worth individuals within large corporate structures, and often his audit work led to interactions with The Chief Counsel of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Robert also served as an Elected Official for the National Treasury Employee Union (NTEU) for many years and held the positions of Union Steward and Treasurer in the application of Federal Labor Laws. His devoted work for the U.S. Department of Treasury, Internal Revenue Service (IRS) was recognized with a special award at the end of his long standing tenure.

Robert’s persistent dedication to his accounting profession combined with his impressive background of service with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), make him a Top Notch Expert and Strong Advocate for any IRS Tax problems you may be facing today, and for all your future Small Business and Individual Tax needs.   Robert will help you accumulate and preserve your wealth, ensure compliance with tax laws and help you benefit from tax savings.    He is a CPA who stands out from the rest and who will effectively apply accounting principles, interpret tax laws, knows Federal and State taxing regulations and understands the Tax Code,  because he vigorously investigated and enforced these for many years as a Federal taxing authority while serving the IRS.
